Bleed Esports are your winners of the AMD Skyesports SEA Championship by Ampverse by defeating Made In Thailand 3-1.

After their win over Global Esports, MiTH took on BLEED in the Grand Finals. Having lost to them once before, MiTH were ready for revenge and there was no better place than a grand final to do so.

MiTH picked Breeze while BLEED picked Icebox which MitTH responded with Haven and BLEED picked Ascent leaving Bind as the final map. While they are the top teams in their regions, BLEED with their recent performance were the favorites to take home the trophy going into the game:

Map veto:

  • Ban MiTH Perl
  • BLD ban broke
  • MiTH chose Breeze
  • BLD Select Icebox
  • Choosing MiTH Haven
  • BLD Select Ascent
  • The cover remains

Map 1 Breeze

MiTH clearly showed that they had learned from their last encounter with BLEED. They came into the game looking like the better side and the end result matched that. After a close first half, Thailand’s team managed to win the map 13-8. The difference of the 5 rounds may seem a lot but the truth is that the two teams were as close as they could be. Kadoom took their match against GE and was the driving force behind this map win.

Map 2 Icebox

MITH got the first map off the ground with a pistol turn win on Icebox’s offensive side. With their opponents now on eco, they converted the next round as well without any hassle. BLEED got revenge from the third round, and they hit hard, winning the next eight rounds in a row before MITH managed to get their third round on the board. The first half ended with a score of 9-3 in favor of BLEED.

MITH started the second half with a head start as they grabbed the gun turn. However, a BLEED power buy was enough to shut them down. MITH could have won a few more rounds throughout the half but eventually succumbed to the pressure as the game ended 13-9 in favor of BLEED.

Map 3 Haven
MiTH came through comfortably with a healthy 5-2 advantage in their offense thanks to Kititkawin “PTC” Rattanasukol’s 4K on Chamber. BLEED fought their way back into the game by closing out the first half at 5-7 as they found themselves comfortable locking up their opponents from Site C in the final round.

The second half saw both sides go back and forth, with BLEED successfully rescuing the scores. It was Ngô Công “crazyguy” Anh who shut down Haven for BLEED Esports as they went up 2-1 in the Grand Finals series of 5. Kantapong “Kadoom” Kingthong did his best to bring MiTH back into the game with his heroics, but they looked helpless and listless throughout the second half.
