Anubis is the new map in town and has left Dust II well in the dust. This is a map that players will struggle to learn quickly, so it’s not the worst idea to be ahead of the curve.
We have the smokes you will need to get to site A and site B easily.
You’ll set up the entire team with an easy utility. This will focus on the smoke, as it will be easier to throw the Flashes through the many broken brick windows in Anubis.
Here’s a list of all the Anubis explanations, thanks to Night_not_Day on Reddit for posting these.
The first smoke you make will block site connector A. This will make it easier for you to block anyone turning from mid when you aggressively push through A main.
It will land inside the hallway, making it difficult for anyone to see through it unless they push the smoke. Make sure you don’t throw these away too early, as they will likely be up in smoke before you hit the site.
You will position yourself where the X is in the screenshot, on the slanted wooden boards that will boost you to the other boxes and aim towards the left window of Site A. Line up the bottom of your crosshair with the black line on the window, in the center. All you have to do is a simple throw of a left click.
Now, the second smoke is for heaven. This will make the CT’s life difficult as they won’t be able to rain down on you with bullets. This smoke is on the harsher side.
What you will do is called a “walk shot”. You will hold a shift and aim where the aim is in the screenshot. It’s right under the ledge on the roof and in the middle of the first brick. You will then go and throw when your aim hits just below the middle part of the hieroglyphs on the walls. Leave as soon as you hit this place.
You will line up for these formations.
Set yourself up in the corner of those bricks in the screenshot for that first smoke. It will jump at the connector part where “palace” joins site B.
You will aim only to the left of the page, where the aim is in the screenshot, and throw with a left click.
For the next formation, arrange yourselves in line with the corner. Then aim where the aim is directed in the screenshot and throw a left click.
Be careful with that smoke when you enter the site. There is a small section where a player can push up to the corner towards CT. You will need to check this location as it can lead to some sneaky kills.
Now you are in business. The smoke should be thrown later depending on how much your team members push up A and B mains. You’ll have plenty of room to throw simple flashes through the windows shown in the screenshots.
